About Us

Twelve Studios is a 4,053 square foot recording facility and office space located in Midtown Atlanta. Twelve houses 4 studio rooms including 3 pre-production rooms and a main mixing room with a live room.

Dina Marto

Owner & Founder

Dina is the visionary who founded the Twelve brand. She built and opened Twelve Music & Studios in 2012 to provide a creative environment for talent and clients. Her duties include overseeing operations, managing client relations, and ensuring quality service.

Krystal Rascoe

General Manager

Krystal is a native of Durham, NC. After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Howard University, she moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue work in the TV/film industry. In 2012, Krystal relocated to Atlanta to further develop her business skills, and now oversees the event planning and branding for Twelve. Her duties include managing daily operations, hiring and training interns, and servicing clients.

Sheldon “Coz” Ellerby

Facilities & Logistics Manager

Coz is a New Jersey native who began producing music at the age of 15, and has since produced and engineered Atlantic recording artist Jaheim’s Appreciation Day album. He has over 20 years of experience engineering at major studios and artist projects. In 2007, Coz relocated to Atlanta and became a technical advisor for several producers and engineers. Coz wired all the equipment for Twelve Studios. His duties include overseeing equipment, training engineers, and managing technical operations.

Josiah “Joso” Muhammad

A&R & Talent Relations Manager

Josiah is a Boston, MA native who received his bachelor’s from Johnson & Wales University, where he began to involve himself in the music business by promoting shows and events. Shortly after, Josiah started doing promotions for Bad Boy artist Machine Gun Kelly. In 2011, Josiah relocated to Atlanta to further his career, and worked with songwriting duo Rock City. During his tenure at Twelve, Josiah has placed multiple hit records, assisted with the Rick Ross Artist First platform, and helped with the management of talent. His duties include finding new talent, coordinating creative sessions, and reviewing all music submissions.

Christopher “Cat” Taylor

Studio & Engineer Manager

Cat is an Aurora, IL native who started playing piano at 6 years old and has also learned orchestral and marching band percussion. After serving in the military, Cat studied production and engineering at Full Sail University. In 2014, Cat relocated to Atlanta and became a lead engineer and manager at Twelve. He has a natural gift for mixing, vocal, and music production. Cat is responsible for teaching student engineers through The Recording Connection Program. His duties include managing operations, overseeing engineers, and servicing clients.

Denver Moon

Manager

Denver is an Athens, GA native and studied engineering at SAE Atlanta. After graduating, Denver engineered for producer WLPWR and other artist and projects. He also has been playing drums since the age of 10. Denver is a lead engineer and manger at Twelve. His duties include managing operations, overseeing interns, and servicing clients

Kandis Knight

Publicist & Social Media Manager

Kandis is a Minnesota native and earned a degree in Journalism and Marketing at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. She has amassed over 15 years of experience in guerrilla and digital marketing through her work with Prince and Paisley Park Enterprises, The Rae Mackenzie Group, PZI Jeans International, Soundset Festival, Beauty In Beauty Out Tour, Whole Foods Market, and numerous artists and labels. In 2006, Kandis relocated to Atlanta to continue representing talent and was a featured publicist in the 2014 Black Enterprise Magazine. She is now the program coordinator for The Recording Connection at Twelve. Her duties include overseeing all social media content, managing public relations, and assisting with marketing and branding.

We are always looking to hire enthusiastic, unpaid interns who are eager to learn recording, engineering, and different aspects of the music business.
